Our work over the past few months has been nothing short of extraordinary. We have managed to cover over 209km of coastline, and our tireless efforts have resulted in the collection of more than 18 000 kg of marine debris (plus an additional 5000kg collected shortly after calculating our totals) . Our team is amazed by the extensive array of items found. From everyday items like styrofoam and rope to objects that appear to have been discarded decades ago, we have seen it all.
Our team’s resilience in challenging weather conditions has been immensely inspiring. Despite the difficulties faced while navigating unforgiving weather, the team remained determined and focused. We are incredibly proud of their unwavering enthusiasm and dedication, which allowed us to achieve our goals. Our mission to clean the coastline is not over yet, and we can’t wait to continue our work in the new year!
