Campbell River’s Tour Operators want to show you all the fantastic tours we have in Campbell River! First come first serve! Sign up starts at 9am. You must sign up for your time in person at each dock.
WHALE WATCHING & WILDLIFE TOURS: FREE & DISCOUNTED: Tours will be 30 – 45 mins
Discovery Harbour Marina: Sign up at 9am. Tour times – 10am – 3pm. With Big Animal Encounters, Campbell River Whale Watching.
50 North Adventures will be offering 40 minutes for $40.
Coast Marina : Sign up at 9am. Homalco Wildlife Tours 10am – 12pm. Eagle Eye Adventures from 10am – 3pm,
Free Kayaking:
By Island Joy Rides will be offering free 30 minute Kayaking, on the Estuary on the half hour starting at 12pm, last tour 2:30pm. Meet at the playground at the Spit. Text 250 204 4429 to sign up for your time.
Free E-Bike Rides:
By Island Joy Rides will be offering E-Bikes from the Spit on the half hour starting at 12pm, last tour 2:30pm. Meet at the playground. Text 250 204 4429 to sign up for your time.
Paddle Board Rentals:
Island Life Expeditions will be offering FREE Paddle Board use at Ken Forde Park, 12pm – 3pm..as well as running a Paddle Board Race at 3pm! Sign up on the day
Helicopter Tours:
49 North Helicopters will be offering 50% off helicopter tours from their location at the Campbell River Airport – 12pm – 3pm.

The What’s On Digest Photo Hunt is back with Benny McGrath! Think you know Campbell River? A series of obscure photos will challenge you as you make your way around Campbell River to some iconic sites.
5 Big Snap challenges over 20 photos and a chance to WIN $500 cash. Plus other prizes.

Before June 1st 9am. Everyone needs to Register, $5 ea or $20 for a group, so we can send you your hunt map, photos and challenges. You will need a vehicle for this one.

MARITIME CENTRE
THE MUSEUM
Maritime Heritage Centre, The Pier & Campbell River Museum
Maritime Heritage Centre’s 20th Anniversary from 11am to 3pm. This event invites the community to join in celebrating the Centre’s remarkable journey of community collaboration, and the dedication that brought it to life.
Visit old friends, enjoy a burger (by donation), participate in kids activities, tour for FREE the exhibits and record your story of the HC or BCP45 with our videographer!
The Aquarium will have activities and special attractions. The explorer lab will be open for crafts and activities for kids.
The Pier will be open with a special Ocean Day Ice-cream treat
Crabby Bob’s will be offering special sample dishes of delicious local seafood.
Visitor Centre Opening Tourism vendors will be located at the centre with some special deals on tours plus loads of information about ‘Things to Do’ in Campbell River. Pick up a Whale Tail donut.
Museum at Campbell River Free admission for the day and a scavenger hunt inside the museum. A self-guided Triva Trek people can do by bike around town, looking for those information boards. Details are on their website.
